توصیه میشود دانشجویان برای این درس به وبسایتهای معتبر در زمینه خودرو و نیز وبسایتهای شرکتهای سازنده خودرو مراجعه کنند. همچنین برخی مجلات معتبر (و البته نه مجلات کوچه بازاری پسند و به اصطلاح مجلات زرد) میتوانند به کسب اخبار آخرین تکنولوژیهای مورد استفاده در خودرو کمک کند.
ذکر این نکته لازم است که هدف این درس، هرگز این نیست که فلان شرکت، چه قطعهای را مورد استفاده قرار داد؛ بلکه هدف این است که با مفهوم، قابلتهای بالفعل و بالقوه و چگونگی استفاده از هر فنآوری مدرنی در صنعت خودرو به منظور کسب هدفی مشخص، آشنا شد. و این قابلت در دانشجویان پدید آید که بتواند تحولات تکنولوژیکی را دنبال کرده، خود را به روز نگه دارد و علاوه بر اینها، از نگرش خاصی برای استفاده از تکنولوژیهای نوین برخوردار گردد.
